A Letter from Pam Barnhill
Yesterday I shared a letter I wrote to a woman named Pam Barnhill. Today, I will share her reply:
So the first and biggest question: WHY do you want to homeschool? Because you really do have to have a solid WHY -- even if it is only because your husband thinks it is important and wants you to do it.
Many of the things you talk about are issues for me -- the visual distraction, the NOISE, the wanting freedom to do my own thing. I have systems in place to deal with the worst of those, most days pretty well, some days not so much. BUT I continue to homeschool because of my WHY. Without that I would have give up long ago.
And that is why I have begun this project. I need to find my why.
We all do.
